    "Disappointingly boring"

Being a great fan of The Office, I expected this audiobook of podcasts to be quirky and funny. Instead we have inane chit chat between the three, and it's actually hard to believe that Karl can be so ignorant, stupid and lacklustre. Nothing is helped by the continual background scathing cackle at Karls' expense from Ricky. Expected a belly laugh, but just got a BIG YAWN, hardly even raised a smile. Ho-hum and boring, don't waste your money.

    "The Karl Pilkington Show"

I enjoyed this introductory season of Ricky Gervais' podcast. By the end, you're happy to hear Ricky admitting that it should be called the Karl Pilkington show as Karl ends up doing the lionshare of the talking. Karl's quite the eccentric personality.

I don't want to give too much away, so I'm being purposely vague. It would suffice to say, however, that this season isn't really about Ricky Gervais' comedy, but instead showcases his ability to see what could be entertaining, and his ability to steer it in that direction.

    "not particularly funny"

I've been a fan of Gervais' work and was disappointed in this offering. Sounds as if the participants had a good time but left the audience out.

    "I Don't Get It"

As a lover of audio books, and a great fan of comedy, I really looked forward to this wildly popular program. The program is full of slapstick British humor, which was a mis-match for my American taste. Nonetheless, I found myself often scratching my head and asking "how was that funny?" after Karl Pilkington offered many of his wild ideas on life. Then, his counterparts scoff and laugh wildly like school children at his mildly humorous statements. Admittedly, there were moments where I was tickled, but overall I was disappointed.

"Love these guys, and love the show!"

All I can say is that, right at the beginning, and throughout, Ricky stresses that this is a free podcast. So why is Audible charging for it? They have other books for free, so why not this?

I would recommend this book to anyone who want a good laugh.
It's very light hearted and wouldn't take it to seriously.
Karl Pilkington is best known for his Idiot Abroad series and comes out with some silly things. The times he talks about his childhood and what went on is very funny!
    Worth a listen!

A friend recommended this to me, I wasn't too fussed as I've never seen anything by any of them although everyone says they're very funny. I haven't stopped listening to it, it is by far one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Monkey News is genius...
If you like funny things, get this!!!!

"Best listening experience of 2016 for me."
    Any additional comments?

This was the funniest and happiest credit I have used on audible to date. How did I never listen to the lot before. I spent 4.5 hours listening to this on my day off, that is a record for me. And yes, I do have a life. Or maybe I don't come to think of it...

The only downside is when Ricky does that stupid piggy squeal laugh which can be an assault on the senses, but I just keep the volume down in expectation of this. Definitely something I can live with!

I love these guys three guys having a laugh and ol Karl Pilkington's strange theories and stories; what's not to like of course it all goes on your sense of humour but the stupidity of it just makes it more hilarious and brighter note cheap as chips; as I do find audiobooks on Here are a tad overpriced. Highly recommend this I own them all hours of laughter at my fingertips
