Satan's got the health inspector in and it seems that the lighting in hell isn't up to scratch but that's the least of his worries, with bad Feng-Shui, no sleep and some atrocious poetry not even Helen of Troy can perk up his day. Another hex-allent series from one of the writers of Revolting People and Trevor's World of Sport.

Yes, depends on your humour but this is good old clean funny. I highly recommend getting a few seasons and if you like the first few episodes .. if you like them get all the series as with the exception of season 7 they are all excellent, season 7 good just not quite the same and a little more repetition .
Um...this is a radio show so I don't think there is a comparable print edition. But if there was, I would still go for audio. This way, you get actors acting out the parts and special effect music to add to the whole thing.
What isn't interesting? Seriously, there isn't a dull moment! Hm...most interesting? I would say (spoiler alert!) the surprise appearance from God.
Andy Hamilton, who played Satan. He really convinced me that Satan, prince of darkness, was overall a nice guy. Which, now that I think about it, really shouldn't happen!
"Hell's not a place for safety inspectors"
Make sure to listen to it with a friend, because it is impossible not to make references and think about it after listening to it. It's just that addictive.
"Hilarious from beginning to end"
The genius of Andy Hamilton. There are seven series and a Christmas special, all absolutely first class. Superbly witty, brilliantly performed, a must-have for the collection.
"Got to love Andy Hamilton.."
Packed with the usual running gags and a character list collected from the annuls of history, Andy Hamilton brings his own unique spin to the machinations of the satanic realm.
This series was as good as ever . I have listened to it numerous times and enjoyed it as much as the last. Andy Hamilton is a genius .
"Is this the end of hell?"
As always a superb piece of writing and performing. The Prof is trying to get the upper hand with the Devil and poor Scumspawn and, not so poor, Thomas as always end up being tormented by the Devil in some hideous but inventive way.
"GETS BETTER AND BETTER"
This whole series is probably the funniest thing I have ever listened to. I have bought the whole lot. I am never disappointed and even though I have listened over and over again, it still makes me laugh.
Cannot get enough of them all.
"Great script and story"
Andy Hamilton is a genius. This is funny and while very dated in terms of the 'current affairs' used to silent the stories, the main themes of heaven and hell, and man's good or evil are very cleverly explored. Series 4 means we know the characters and their foibles well - and once again we listen as Satan tries to prove the fundamental evil of mankind, with Thomas doing nothing to to contradict this with his odious attitude! while the prof constantly rebutes this, and with Scum-Sporn, Satan's romantic, gentle aide in evil, they attempt to sway the prince of darkness' view point. Laugh out loud stuff. Well dramatised and the cast is excellent. VERY white, VERY English, VERY funny!
A classic. Hamilton is superb as both voice and writer. Jokes are witty, silly, funny and naughty. Two thumbs up!
