Norm Macdonald honed his comic chops while writing for Roseanne and starring on Saturday Night Live, which included his widely-loved yet controversial turn on its Weekend Update segment. Macdonald has a biting and caustic wit, and tackles dark subjects like cancer, death, and alcoholism, but what makes him a successful comedian is the sheer charm in his demeanor. Jokes that could come across as aggressive or morbid are diffused by his disarming delivery, which is often so off-beat that it seems improvisatory, as if he's just figuring out the punch line. His unique personality makes Me Doing Stand-Up a fantastic listen.
Get ready, because Norm Macdonald, one of the world’s funniest and most subversive comedians, is letting loose in his first-ever one-hour stand-up special, titled "Norm Macdonald: Me Doing Stand-Up". Norm Macdonald, the iconic anchor of SNL’s “Weekend Update” and star of the cult classic Dirty Work, is back with a vengeance. This time he serves up a hilarious hour of stand-up comedy, covering everything from cheating death, 24-hour news stories, shameful sex, serial killers, and cheese sandwiches. Don’t let his laid-back demeanor fool you; Macdonald’s brand of comedy is as blunt and sharp as ever.

Not much that needs saying here. If you love Norm MacDonald's style of comedy then you'll love this. If you don't like then you won't.
I think it's genius.
I love Sci Fi, science, nature, hiking, adventure and self improvement. Also, any good story will work as well.
I liked this audio. It was short, as most comedy routines are. The funniest thing about it for me was Norm's delivery. He seems to have the voice to make his material sound funny and the comedic timing is always one of his strengths.

I've always been a fan of Norm MacDonald, but on this special he really takes it to the next level. Next to Jim Jefferies, I have never heard such a solid hour of comedy. HIGHLY suggest you get this one.
"Is he drunk???"
I didn't even finish the book, it takes too long to get to the jokes...... if those are jokes.... it just sounds like a bunch of gibberish and clearly the people in the audience are just as drunk. I just didn't like it.
