1974 Ford Mustang II. Yes, that bad.

What disappointed you about Keeping House?

Some of the most beautiful cars in the world have that Mustang badge on the grill. The 1974 Ford Mustang II was definitely not one of them. This book is a bit like that. An interesting idea that just didn't turn out all that interesting.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Dead Wrong (Blackmoore Sisters Romantic Mystery)

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment.

Any additional comments?

I think this could have been interesting but the episodic nature of the book really works against it. Added to that it's not really all that funny. I think maybe someone who smoked too much of the whacky weed might find it hilarious but without the weed it's just dull.

Enjoyable hilarity

Contrary to the previous reviewer, I enjoyed this story immensely... and I do not "smoke... whacky weed". I thought it was funny and clever. I thought that some of the characters could have been fleshed out more, but overall it was a wonderful romp into a world of magic and humor.

Oh, and the lizard was my absolute favorite. I'm still chuckling months later over that bit. Please write more! I keep coming back, hoping to find another story with new characters and more laughter.
