These 12 kitschy and undeniably catchy sci-fi cuts spring from the quirky, offbeat mind of Dr. Demento, the legendary musician and DJ known for his idiosyncratic tastes, and features contributions from iconic novelty musician "Weird" Al Yankcovic and Mr. Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy.
These tracks, almost half of which are Star Trek inspired, play like a radio transmission from a faraway galaxy with their space-age keyboards and echoing vocals, and are held together by Demento’s fan-like enthusiasm, cheeky playfulness, and undeniable ear for melody.

Listened to it years ago & I finally found a copy!
This isn't actually a book, but an album of crazy space music. I heard it on a friend's tape player years ago and I am thrilled to finally have a copy of my own. Carmen Miranda's Ghost is my favorite.
