A lanky comedian with a penchant for looking at the floor, Mitch Hedberg was also the master of offhand non-sequiturs - funny oddball observations that could almost be philosophical nuggets. This album was recorded during a show at which Hedberg was testing out new material, and while some jokes fall flat, Hedberg shows off his catlike comedic agility with his quick rebounds. It is no surprise that, with his idiosyncratic style, Herberg continues to have a loyal cult following despite his unfortunate death in 2005.
Recorded two months prior to Mitch Hedberg's death, this album contains nearly 40 minutes of previously unreleased stand-up material. It pulses with Mitch's inimitable wit and spirit. It documents a comedy master, and it's a treat for all those who were afraid they'd never get to hear another great Hedberg joke.

Listening to Mitch is like listening to Hendrix. An original, great at his craft-- a genius in his way, and one just can't help but wonder what he might have produced, had he lived. Such a waste. R.I.P Mitch. Thanks for the laughs.
I love to read mysteries, histories, biographies, humor, and Jane Austen.
This was recorded shortly before Mitch Hedberg died of an overdose. Mitch was a master of the surreal non-sequiter. He's my favorite comedian on the Sirius XM Laugh USA station. But the monologues played on Laugh USA are 'family friendly' with no language stronger than an occasional 'damn'. So it was a bit of a shock to hear Mitch using the F word repeatedly on this recording. Mitch is still very funny on this recording, just not something I can share with my young kids.
Avid reader, love philosophy, fiction, everything!
Absolute genius, a cross between Carlin and Wright. Gone way too soon. Mitch Hedberg is pure comedy genius and gold! Always a great listen!
