In this third series, written by Mark Tavener, Prentiss McCabe take on their most difficult and demanding client - an odious tennis star - and Charles tries to rescue the career of a disgraced Labour minister. The pair also find themselves charged with the unenviable task of trying to help the government sort out the health service (with the help of a llama), and Charles finds himself representing the latest 'star' from Big Brother. Martin, meanwhile, becomes a member of the House of Lords...
The series ends as Prentiss McCabe face their biggest ever challenge - re-launching men. But the best slogan they can come up with is 'Stand By Your Man'...

wish that I could listen all the time. Stephen fry is by far my favorite actor. John bird is hilarious too.
Brilliant! Buy it.
When can we have the first 2 series.
"where's 1 and 2????"
This is great entertainment with a decent story line and stellar performances by seasoned professionals. However why I ask my self have they opted to start with an offering of ONLY series 3?????? 1 and 2 are no where to be found on Audible.... I ask my self why. I find my self answering it's because either the sales department can't count to 3 without as it where missing out 1 and 2 OR that the marketing department reason... (if you can attach such a noun to a marketing department) that if we get them to buy the third series they will HAVE to by 1 and 2 won't they? Which would kind of make sense I suppose.... if you could actually buy series 1 and 2... er ... as it where. But can you? Maybe you can ..... maybe some where else... and the only reason that the third series appears here is because "legal" and marketing hammered out a deal with sales and silent board members (who made little actual what you'd call contribution), to promote only a few bits of a successful show at a knock down price on their "live real time global procurement online sales platform" or "website" for short, in the sure and curtain knowledge that the content providers "positive inboard revenue value steams" or "income" will increase.
"Solid British comedy"
Great actors deliver a satirical look at political spin. Listened and relistened - a lot!
Why is only series 3 available though?
"Stephen Fry's best role"
Stephen Fry is a bit of a hero in my family, and this has got to be his best role to date. Deliciously unscrupulous Charles Prentiss is the ultimate spin doctor, and along with his boozy colleague Martin McCabe (played by John Bird) they bounce from one political crisis to another. This is the Yes Prime Minister for Blair's Britain. Fantastic, no matter how many times you listen!
Brilliant comdedy. I am going back for more
