Enjoyable

I am new to Nathaniel Hawthorne, I enjoyed the story and the narration. Audio books are a great way to learn the classics

Perfect

I bought this because of the exceedingly cheap price, but this turned out to be one of the best audio books I have listened to in a long time. Perfectly narrated, and a great story.

A classic

If you find yourself either wanting to read Young Goodman Brown or like me, have to read it for an English class, this is a good way to fully understand the story.

I find listening to classics like this a bit easier than just trying to read the words on the page as sometimes there's so much expose that the scene starts to get a bit muddy. For me, listening to it is better than trying to read it.

Sad and True

Martha Carrier is my great-something Grandmother. She was killed in the Salem trials. The insanity of dream, the insanity of judgmental fear is put across forcefully in this short, painfully accurate story.

BJ does a good job

This story's gonna take you over to the Spirit of your own life and the way you are in the world once you do it.

A Little Known Classic, Beautifully Narrated

This was a classic story I was not familiar with. The devil entices a man on a journey. The man must determine whether the people he knows are who they seem or something different. Brilliantly narrated by the wonderful BJ Harrison.

I have no idea what I read

It seems full of text with deeper meaning, maybe religious context? It’s an interesting read but without context I feel I can’t appreciate the story the way the author wanted his work to be.
