Wuthering Heights

Lockwood, the new tenant of Thrushcross Grange on the bleak Yorkshire moors, is forced to seek shelter one night at Wuthering Heights, the home of his landlord. There he discovers the history of the tempestuous events that took place years before: of the intense passion between the foundling Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw, and her betrayal of him. I hear voices. But maybe that's because there's always an Audible book in my ear.

    Story
    "There's no one to like."

I searched for someone to like in this book and couldn't find one. It's darker than I remembered. Brilliant, yes. But dark. The narration is first-rate, but sometimes confusing depending on which character was speaking.

I read this book in my teens and loved the mystery and darkness. Michael Kitchen does an amazing job bringing this story to life!!
