Smell the flowers - be aware of the bees - enjoy the rain that waters these.
I also thought this was just lovely .. and quite affordable I might add! Twas the Night Before Christmas has always been my absolute favorite Christmas story. And if no one knows - it was written by a father who worked at a newspaper house long ago. He was working late on Christmas eve, while his son waited up for him at home by the fire. He wrote this story for the child he loved so dearly, on the night before Christmas. A father to a son. Just lovely, I say. And the narrator, the British accent, all we wonderful too!
My son had to do this poem for the Christmas pageant, and having this recording really help him. He took on the british accent and pick up all the intonations of the actor in the mp3. It was truely wonderful and all the parents and the teacher at the school were calling him a genius and a true star. So thank you audible for producing this one. I don't know who gave this less than a five but they are crazy.
My name is Irene and I'm a lifelong bookaholic. A few years ago, I started adding audiobooks and I'm so happy I joined Audible in 2015 :-))
This is such a wonderful, classic poem with a rhythm all its own. The Nutcracker on piano also has a rhythm of its own and completely takes away from the poem. Bad choice. You can't appreciate either because of the clash.
My niece and nephew enjoyed listening to this. Thankful to Audible. They should come up with more kids books that are motivating and inspiring.
NO! There is no horrible music in the print version
The bad music....
He was great, it was the music I didn't like
