Publisher's Summary

"The Queer Client" is a desolate story about death and revenge. The tragedy of the story is that every character in the story dies or loses - or both. "The Queer Client" is a remarkable and powerful work about the grim realities of debtor's prison and the fertile ground for despair and revenge found therein. Read by an American voice, by listener request.

This story slightly better narrated than others by this narrator but still very uneven of pace and flat in delivery

    "Bad recording and Reader!!!"
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I have no idea if the story was any good. The reader is so bad I couldnt listent to it!!The recording sounds like it was recorded in a tin can! This readers performance was sooo bad! He was just reading the words and not the story.I was very disappointed because I love Dickens stories.
