The narrator skipped entire chunks of the story, which was very frustrating when I was using this during class. I wanted the students to follow along in their books but it was difficult when it would just jump over whole paragraphs.
The narration is lacking in cohesiveness and flow. Pauses are inappropriate and unnatural. I feel as if this was the narrator's first read through of the story. For a positive, it is the unabridged text read completely, just not well.
