Like a Greek tragedy. Worthy of Aeschylus.
Hugo is a master. This is like a like a Greek tragedy - worthy of Aeschylus.
In a different style than Les Misérables - more theatrical. With far fewer digressions.
Also, I am a fan of the narrator.
I have listened to literally hundreds of hours of David Case (AKA Frederick Davidson) reading,
He definitely could be seen as an acquired taste but, he is an excellent reader/actor and this is a good example of his skill.
