Loved it!

5 stars to rule them all
I really couldn't ask for a better classic series. The performance is also so well done, specifically the songs that are in the books are beautifully sung, and a lot of them give me chills; especially the elves' song when they release the barrels down the river. It's so nice to have heard them sung instead of just reading them. You owe it to yourself to experience these books. Don't forget the Silmarillion as well, which is also such a beautiful book. I listen to them all over and over again, despite my decent sized library.

Great story!
I really enjoyed listening to this book. It really kept me engaged. I drive great distances every day at work and this was particularly hard to turn off when I got to where I was going. I also found the narrator was great at the art of story telling. Good listen!

Great narration
Rob Inglis does a wonderful job on this fantastic tale. There is comedy, adventure, sorrow, joy and life lessons. We love Jim Dale as the narrator for Harry Potter, it’s hard to find someone as talented but we enjoyed the Hobbit so much we started on the Fellowship of the Rings also narrated by Inglis
