The Classic Adventure
Having seen both the original Lord of the Rings and the cinematic adaptation of The Hobbit, I wanted to hear the original book. I'm glad I did! The adventure of Bilbo Baggins was, and remains, a classic. I specifically loved the portion where Bilbo encounters Smeagle and the part where the group journeys through Mirkwood. The narrator was perfect, the story enchanting, and I eagerly look forward to making my way through the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

So glad I revisited this story
It has been over 30 years since I read this book. I am so glad I decided to revise it on audible. It is a great story and Rob Inglis is a wonderful job of narrating. It is a classic for a reason.

Heard Again for the first time!
I loved listening to the unabridged version of the Hobbit. heard first in cartoon as a child, read as a young adult with my sophmoric mind, and finally listened to as an adult before seeing the motion pictures to help inspire a new generation of Tolkien fans. Very well done!
