Best Narration Possible
The narrator does a perfect job of reading the book. He’s able to provide enough emphasis and emotion without becoming theatrical. And the voices of each character are in keeping with their personalities as developed by the author. If it would have been possible for me to hear Mr. Tolkien read this book, I imagine he would sound like the narrator.

An Engaging Audio Fantsasy Experience
This narration of the Lord of the Rings was a very entertaining experience. Rob Ingles' reading helped to bring Tolkien's masterpiece to life. I found the songs to be especially delightful when comparing them to my own interpretations on previous read throughs. This is an enthralling version of a classic story and absolutely should be picked up by anyone interested in an immersive fantasy world.

The songs were some of my favorite parts. It's lovely to hear them sang.
Listening to this book while riding through the countryside has been a phenomenal experience. The reader is charming to listen to and easy to understand even when speaking elvish.
