Best trilogy ever
I first became acquainted with Tolkien in 1973 in high school. A friend turned me on to The Hobbit describing the characters holes, fuzzy toes and small stature. He bought me a paperback and I was up all night reading. Copies of the trilogy Lord of the Rings soon followed. Over the years I've read all four books many times. I bought a leather bound set in adulthood and it is well worn. I was greatly surprised at the quality of the six movies produced from the books. I've watched each of them several times. Now my third kind of media where I enjoy Tolkien. Listening to the Audible recordings of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings has been wonderful. All of the recordings are very well produced. It takes a bit of commitment to complete the set. I enjoyed every minute and have just started my second listening. Buy these recordings. They are well worth the expense.

Rob Inglis is charming
I was pleasantly surprised to hear Mr. Tolkien’s poems/lyrics made love into songs. I truly enjoyed listening to this narration.

Amazing
I’ve watched the movies and just wow finally listening (reading) the books so much was left out and I’m so happy I can listen to them and learn the whole story of the lord of the rings trilogy
