After 46 hours, I was still sad when it ended

A wonderful tale that rarely slows. Excellent audio performance - but it helps to look up the characters’ names if one does not speak French.

Better than the movie

Degas weaves a tale so intricately that it wraps you up into a different world, the narration of this book is expertly done.

Excellent Book

full of adventure, all manners of revenge had a conclusion and it wasn't like the movie, but more tragedy was included. the reader did a wonderful job keeping me on the edge of my seat.

Unabridged is A LOT!

I loved this story so much, but be warned that it is very, very long. I almost didn't realize it, but am glad that I read it and was able to compare it to the abridged version I had read in High School.
