One of the most respected, successful chroniclers of 19th-century life, Anthony Trollope is still widely read and much-loved today, and The Barchester Chronicles - witty moral comedies with a wonderful range of characters - are among his most popular tales. Doctor Thorne is a gripping drama of wealth and wedlock.

I'm kind of liking these Barchester Chronicles - though they're definitely not the thing to choose when you're looking for excitement in your life - but this is the second one I've purchased and the second one which apparently no one bothered listening to before they released it.
It says this is 6 hours long; in fact, it's 2.5 hours of the 'Doctor Thorne' storyline; then 2 hours of the same episodes, repeated; then .45 hours of a completely unrelated episode.
I've given up now, and used this month's credit to purchase the 'complete' Barchester Chronicles - perhaps that will solve the problem.
However, if you DO like these BBC-type period dramas - if you're a big Lark Rise to Candleford fan, for example - these are quite good. Just be aware you're not actually getting 6 hours' worth of episodes.
