Lovely Readings

Poetry should always be read aloud. I recommend this recording to anyone who may feel overwhelmed by poetry. I laughed out loud and thought deeply. I think I may have teared up at one point...one of the WW poems.

Loved this, but…

I can’t believe they only listed Ralph Fuentes and Judi Dench as narrators! Obviously, they’re both wonderful, but there were so many amazing actors that aren’t credited, like Sir Ian McKellan and Michael Cain. I wish they listed the narrators for each poem, because there were a few voices I recognized, but couldn’t put a name to. Also, I could’ve done without the musical interludes. I’m sure they were used to mark the ages, but I would’ve rather they just said it and left the music out. Otherwise, I enjoyed this audiobook immensely.

I couldn't get into it

Please return for exchange credit I thought reading old classic piwms or stories like an old favorite Annabelle Lee by Edgar Allen Poe would be good brain stretching exercise for me but it felt like forced push UP's I am glad I tried. Reading is never a waste of time!
