This audiobook gives various voices to Poe's writings. These voices are suggested by the identities of the narrator and other characters within each piece. When it seems that Poe is the narrator, we attempt to use a voice that may be similar to that of himself.

Edgar Allan Poe had a transatlantic upbringing. He was born in Boston and attended primary school in Scotland and England. At age eleven, he moved to Richmond, Virginia, where his education continued through high school and one year at the University Of Virginia, where he excelled in his studies of French and Latin.

We earnestly hope that Mr. Poe would not disapprove of our use of artistic license in this audiobook production of his writings; but, being quite dead, he is in no position to express his opinion about this rendering of his work, or is he? We hope you enjoy listening. Cheers!
