Starts off slow, but Tim Curry is great!
When I read this book in text format, I just skim the first 30-40 pages. Unfortunately, it's a bit harder to do that in an audio book. However, Tim Curry is a great narrator and he does a fantastic job with the adventurous parts in this text.

A story full of excitement and frustration
Tim Curry's performance was outstanding, unfortunately I can't say the same about the actual story.
I did enjoy the story, and my kids really enjoyed it, but I felt at times short cuts were taken when the narrative could have been expanded, and when the narrative was expanded you wished that section would end.

The voice that makes me smile.
Tim Curry reading Jules Verne. How could it not be phenomenal?
His voice is perfect to take you on the journey, lead you into suspense, drop you into the story and have you wanting more.
Buy this version. I will always hear this in Tim Curry's voice as long as I live.
