Publisher's Summary

Hear 2 famously sinister stories - both read in unabridged form so you won't miss one evil detail. Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is the story of a doctor who uses chemical experiments to create an alter ego. Unfortunately, the alter ego is Mr. Hyde, the doctor's dark, malevolent side unleashed - with fatal consequences. The Turn of the Screw, by Henry James, tells the tale of 2 children who see apparitions and are then corrupted. But were these visions evil, or the children themselves?

    "Awful Sound!"

For two classic books that should be a 'must read' for every book lover, the sound quality of these two audiobooks was atrocious to the point of having to listen to the same sentence over and over to try to make out what was said.
The Turn of the Screw faded out without ever even finishing the story. I will pay more attention to the sound quality rating in the future.

    "Antique Sound Quality"

I enjoyed the stories and the readings, however was extremely disappointed with the sound qualitiy of the recording. I can only blame myself, though, because I did not notice that it was only offered in quality 1 or 2. (I usually listen to 4s.)
