This audiobook - entertaining for both adults and children - follows the fantastical adventures of a little girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a nonsensical world full of peculiar creatures.

Found it hard to stay interested many times during the story. not a reflection of the reader, but maybe an indication of how far off the path this story takes you.
Terrible narration sounded no better than the text to speech. Did not deserve even the one star I was forced to give it. Tried to return it but could not find the way to do it. Found an alternative audio by Miriam Margolyes which was much better.
No. Definitely not.
Can I have my money back?
"A very difficult listen"
I only listened to this because I owned it and had never read Alice In Wonderland before. But the narrator was very monotone and my mind just wouldn't pay attention like it does with other audiobooks. She got better as the book progressed, but not enough by the end to completely capture my attention.
Plus the book was pretty dull and (obviously!) old fashioned.
Lewis Carroll = Excellent writer!
Shannon Parks = APPALLING narrator!
Being read by someone else!!
Mr Carroll took time, energy and effort to write this most excellent tale (no need for me to tell you about it.... if you have no idea what the story is, then you clearly live under a rock!), and it was destroyed by the shameful narration.
Do yourself a favour and find yourself a copy NOT read by Ms Parks. I love this tale and was very very close to turning it off. In fact it is less that 3 hours long and it took me 4 attempts to listem because the narration is so bad.
