Publisher's summary

Long considered the first great American novel, this delightful classic is brought to life by excellent actor Chris Hendrie, who creates scores of memorable characters. This is a tale of a young runaway boy's adventures on the Mississippi River with his friend Jim, a runaway slave. The unlikely pair survive an incredible journey and become the best of friends, overcoming racism and hardships as they search for freedom.

One of the most deeply touching novels ever written, the characters are created with great compassion and, of course, with Twain's special brand of humor.

The N word was too much for me

What would have made Adventures of Huckleberry Finn better?

I couldn't get past the first few pages due to the use of the N word.

Would you ever listen to anything by Mark Twain again?

Not likely

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Chris Hendrie?

He was fine, I guess.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Nope

Any additional comments?

None
