There are 22 stories in all and are told by Old Peter at the behest of his grandchildren, Ivan and Maroosia, in a cozy log cabin in the middle of the forest. These are delightful re-tellings in Ransome's own words of Russian folk tales, and include stories such as "The Little Snow Girl", "Baba Yaga", "Frost", and "Salt".

Wonderful Sound Effects and background music. This author knows how to write educational books with morals. Professional work from both author, narrators and whole team.

Best Classic Tales Book.
One of my best buy for my kids. Whole family enjoyed this. Somewhat modified than original story, but it was very nice and entertaining. Voiceover is excellent too.

Short and Simple, but wonderful tales..
Nice collection of Classic Tales every child will remember for long time, specially because of the animal characters. These stories are not only for entertainment. Each story illustrates a particular moral and teaches life lessons.

A Great Bunch Of Classics
My son loves fairy tales, and these are among some of his favorites. I have to admit that they are among some of my favorites too. I highly recommend this set. Great writing and great performance.
