Publisher's summary

Welcome back to Willoughby Close, with four new residents and happy endings to deliver....

Belinda "Lindy" Jamison has moved to the Cotswolds for a fresh start and to open a dancing school - her lifelong dream. Pushing 40 and still looking for Mr. Right, Lindy is determined to no longer wait for happiness but to reach for it with both hands. So she packs up her life and heads south to Wychwood-on-Lea to start up her school.

Soon Lindy has a motley crew of would-be dancers. But her most intriguing pupil is Roger Wentworth, a 40-something bachelor with a shy and awkward manner, but a heart of blazing gold. When Lindy decides to showcase her pupils in a Christmas show, Roger is deeply reluctant but finally agrees. Lindy longs to bring Roger out of his shell - but she didn’t expect to fall in love with him in the process.

Soon it is Roger teaching her how two lonely hearts might be able to embrace a second chance this Christmas...if they can just believe they’re both worthy of love.

Narration is stellar

Author Julie Hewitt writes good stories with interesting, mildly irritating- real characters. The characters remind us that everyone has struggles, a past and that there are people who want to be there for each other, and be happy. Justine Eyre is a brilliant narrator! She has a wonderful range to deliver each character uniquely and distinctive.

Great Holiday Read

I found this in my library and hadn’t remembered reading it- regardless I wouldn’t be sad if I paid for it.
It’s a romance between two lonely ppl, both I’m their late 30’s and neither had been married. The hero of the story is on the spectrum based on his interactions, that being said it’s done very well. I highly recommend this book- it’s not life changing but a good pick me up story that deals w life not crazy drama.

Beautiful

I listened with a lump in my throat for half the book! It’s a story of love (familial and romantic) and about letting go — of fear, preconceived notions, and both things and people we cherish. It’s touching and certainly a little sad and entirely beautiful.

Love this series and Justine Eyre’s narration!

Sweet

I wonder if the author’s portrayal of autism would actually relate to all people today? Specifically men. She did a good job developing the story of loss and healing. Very believable.

I Absolutely loved and enjoyed this read! This series had become addictive! The storylines are always moving and relatable to real life situations. But finding love admist it all, is what make them so awesome.

Okay

Like all the other Willoughby Close books the theme of everyone has a story and deserves love is prevalent. I feel like the characters didn’t have as much dimension as in the first two books.
