A wonderful story of second chances told by amazing narrators. I loved this one and really hope for more in the series!

Shorter/Sweet Romance

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Elena Aitken. It was good with mostly likable characters. It has a couple storylines going through it. Hope and Levi's has a HEA. There were a couple frustrated moments with some heartbreaking moments. Cancer stinks! The other storyline contained Hope's sister and was left open for another book. We had an ending that was dropped for a third book as well. I look forward to seeing how those books will play out, as well as hoping to see more of Levi and Hope!

Lee Daniels, Sarah Puckett, and Tim Paige are excellent narrators. Their performances were perfection.

A Sweet & Emotional Romance! Excellent Narration🎧

This wonderfully delightful second chance romance contains a whole lot of heart. It is my first Elena Aitken book, I enjoyed her writing style and the interesting and original story she created, it grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire book. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are likable and easy to care about too. Hope Turner always believed in love and despite having had her heart broken she did not let that taint her, she believes in love and dream weddings so becoming a wedding planner was the right career for her, she built her business up and turned her family ranch into a sought after wedding venue. And when the boy who broke her heart comes back in to her life, she wonders if she should let him in. Levi Langdon’s biggest regret in life was breaking up with Hope, he had his reasons for leaving, knew she wanted to stay on her family’s ranch, so breaking up was the right thing to do, so he thought. But he never got over her and he vowed to win her back, starting with applying for the job she posted about. The chemistry between these two was undeniable, and Hope thought she got her second chance for love. But her world gets turned upside down and this time it is her pushing him away. He is ready to give up but realizes that she, that they are worth fighting for. Hope’s twin sister Faith is anti-love and wanted nothing to do with her wedding planning business, but she steps up to the plate when her sister needed her. This story is beautifully plotted with plenty of drama, heartfelt emotions, a touch of angst, and a wonderful romance. Elena Aitken, thank you for this wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Elena Aitken chose the perfect cast to bring her story and characters to life. Sarah Puckett, Lee Daniels and Tim Paige are superbly talented narrators and a versatile voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, giving each a voice that fit that character’s persona to a tee and sounded believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Sarah Puckett nailed it as Hope, grasped her every emotion, Lee Daniels did the same for Faith and Tim Paige for Levi, they had you feeling every one of their character’s emotions. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Emotional Second Chance Romance.

This is an emotional second chance love story of Hope and Levi. Hope and Levi were together when they were younger and Levi had to leave. Hope is now a wedding planner and Levi is back and has been hired on to help her with the business. There were a lot of emotions in this book. There were some heartbreaking and frustrating moments as well as some romantic times. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to other books in the series. The narration was great!

Quick and Easy Listen

This book is a quick, easy listen that follows a few different story lines. Main story is between Hope and Levi and their chance to rekindle their old love while also dealing with a potentially devastating secondary story. Past that, there is also a third storyline dealing with Hope's twin sister, Faith which is left open for the next book. Narration was excellent.

My first time with this author with sweet characters who found love young. Levi, the H, leaves when he finishes HS because of his living situation. Knowing Hope, the h loves their home town he leaves without her
10 years later Levi returns and they both still have feelings for each other yet new obstacles appear
Such sweet and emotional narrators that drawn you in and care for the characters. The ending and set up for the next book are perfect. Would love to known what the future brings to Levi and Hope

Sweet Second Chance Romance

This book was a nice second chance romance that focuses on childhood best friends Hope and Levi, who grew apart due to their circumstances. Hope stayed in their small town and built a successful wedding venue business. Levi left town, but came back for a little while to wait for his next job, and he decides to help Hope in her booming business. Now that they are spending time back together, they work through their issues and find their way back together.

This was a heartwarming story from Elena Aitken, who is a new-to-me author. I thought that her characters were very lovable. This book, I would say has some angst to it, but not too heavy that it will leave you with a crazy hangover after reading.

I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Sarah Puckett, Lee Daniels and Tim Paige. Sarah was great at portraying the inner turmoil within Hope, Tim was a treat to hear as Levi, and Lee Daniels, who is a new-to-me narrator was fun to listen to as Faith, Hope's twin sister.

A sweet and sexy second chance romance. Hope is running the Ever After Ranch, giving many couples the wedding of their dreams. Her whole live, she’s been a hopeless romantic, dreaming of her own happily ever after, even after getting her own heart broken when Levi left town, and her heart, behind years prior. But when Levi shows back up in town, he’s determined to get a second chance with the only woman he’s ever loved, even though she’s determined not to let him in again. As he finally begins to chip away at her walls, and they really start to find their way back to each other, some devastating news rocks Hope’s world, and she doesn’t know if she’ll ever be able to get her happily ever after. It’s a emotional story, with lots of heat, and a swoony love interest who wins his redemption and then some. Really loved this story.

This is the first book in the Ever After series. Hope has made an amazing career for herself in the wedding industry. After parents passed away she turned their farm into a very sought after wedding venue. Her sister Faith told her to hire someone to help her the business. She put out and add. The first response to her add was a blast from her past. This is a sweet but emotional romance. It does end with a HEA. I am very interested to listen to book 2. Sarah Puckett, Lee Daniels, and Tim Paige did an amazing job narrating this book.

just okay

I didn't quite get why there were 3 narrators for this story. there was a little bit of a volume issue, some chapters were louder than others. the overall story wasn't bad, I found it odd that there was no sex, but it wasn't clean because there was swearing. I would listen or read the other books in the series at some point, but I'm not running out to do it next
