Painful but necessary work.

Having spent the past few days reading the reflections of Robert Pirsig on the concepts of Quality, Value and the Buddhist concept of Dharma, I thought it would be interesting to look to one of the Fathers of Western Philosophy, Aristotle.

This book does an excellent job of cataloguing all of the Categories and Qualities of his World he considered worthy of thought and analysis by Philosophy. It is a difficult read, but it is a necessary work for anyone interested in that Discipline.

For a mind more attracted to the Buddhist take on Reality, it is a painful exercise that sucks the life out of a beautiful practice. I fall into this category hence my three star rating. ***

Also the narration made listening to this book more painful than it had to be. One Star for Deaver Brown
