Hilarious

Funny, gross and depraved.

Everything. The man is a master storyteller and just the cadence of his voice is hysterical.

Best Enjoyed as an Audiobook
Where does Carsick rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
My favorite audiobook experience in my many years of membership because John Waters himself was the reader.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Carsick?
The "Bad Rides" animal rescuer was so right on, and I love animal rescuers.

Really funny and entertaining!

Outlandish, hilarious, trashy
What did you like best about this story?
I love stories that take the listener from place to place and keep the listener entertained, and this did the trick. I enjoyed hearing it and plan to listen again and again.

Way more exciting than Travels with Charley
This one is exactly what you would expect from John Waters. And I mean the Pink Flamingo John Waters not the Hairspray John Waters.
No punches are pulled.
Nothing has been censored.
Now that you have been warned, if like this type of humor you will laugh out loud again and again as you join Mr Waters on this fictitious journy across the United States. I would suggest drinking no liquids while listening to avoid wearing them.

I love John Waters!!
The imagined Good and Bad ride sections are classic John Waters! And the Real Rides, for the most part, renews faith in humanity, really. <3 I've listened to this one many times in the car since I drive a lot for work. And that John narrates it is a huge plus! I could listen to him all day!

Travels with a Magical Asshole 😊
This is a truly entertaining account of a couple of fictitious trips across the country and one nonfiction trip across the country. Including some really different people, liberals and conservatives. Even aliens. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
