Ever since James entered high school, he has been feeling left out. He does not have any friends and is lonely all the time, which eventually leads to depression. His worried parents take him to a counselor who advise him to get a dog. James picks out a dog from the shelter named Sweetie.
Sweetie is a lonely dog who does not trust or respect humans. Will James be able to earn Sweetie’s trust? Will the two of them be able to help each other come out of the dark?
