Great book and I plan to implement the methodology but this will be difficult without all the detail materials referred to in the book. Author should include a PDF with the critical materials discussed in the book.
If you're a hiring manager and use the traditional interview process (gut check), this is a great resource. The book provides a wealth of information and step-by-step instructions to source, screen, select, and sell top candidates. It's a short read (listen) and well worth the time.
This is a goldmine of macro and micro helps in hiring people, the right people. I even think it would be good to read if you were looking for a job to become familiar with great interview questions.

Very boring book to listen to. Interesting technique and nicely revealing case study. The entire book could and should be concluded in one concise paragraph, or a simple one page worksheet.
It all starts with people, and this book provides the most practical guide I've encountered for hiring top talent.

this book gives pragmatic techniques and examples of how to improve your hiring process. It also goes over Concepts as well as macro ideas on how to recruit the best talent. Read this before you do anything in your hiring
This is a very easy read with a practical, tested methodology for improving your hiring practices. While it's a little "salesy" and at times feels more like a brochure than a book, it is well worth taking the few hours needed to listen or to read.
The narration is fine but is badly marred in my opinion by the narrator's use of unnecessary accents. Accents may be applicable to fiction books to emphasize character, but in non-fiction books you are dealing with real people. Not every British person speaks like Lord Grantham in Downton Abbey, and not everyone south of the Rio Grande speaks like Speedy Gonzalez from Looney Tunes. Frankly, it's insulting and unnecessary and Tantor Media should ensure that the practice ceases for their non-fiction books.
Other than that the narration was clear and understandable, if a little pedestrian.
