This book is most suitable for individuals who are already successful and have issues such as arrogance, not complimenting others and/or over-confidence. Not an inspirational read-like I was hoping it would be.

Excellent, simple insights into change

Marshall Goldsmith is an engaging, facinating speaker and his personality shows through nicely in this audiobook. His technique of picking one bad habit to change and following up month after month is very effective. I am using his techniques in my life and in my office and am very happy with the results.

Very Worthwhile

I found this to be very useful. As it turns out, I am one of those people who may come across as being arrogant. I think many of us can see ourselves in the 20 bad habits he documents. To get this kind of information in a corporate setting would cost thousands. This book has caused me to think...which is the highest accolade I can give.

Great Wake Up Call!!!

Things we already know we should be doing but dont. Great book to refocus oneself.

There is a reason this is on sale.

Considering how accomplished Marshall Goldsmith is, you'd think he would be self aware enough not to be the reader of his own book. This arrogant, abusive tirade is better suited for a military training camp. "The only things that come from Texas are Steers and ....."

Worthy read

Book is primarily on mindshift focus and operating in a different narrative than where you currently are at. Managers will find the book very beneficial as it helps you to see how those around you view you. We tend to get tunnel vision and the guides in the book help refocus the lens.

Interesting book for high achievers...

I always prefer if possible to have author read their work. This one was particularly good in that Marshall's voice was very strong in his writing style and it lent well to being read aloud. Its was an interesting take on self improvement for high achievers. Recommend.

second time reading the book and really got a lot

you there I really found much more value and understood more What marshall was saying the second time I listen to the book. I realize it was I who was not ready to fully embrace the message for years earlier. But now that I have grown as a business owner, I was more willing to open up and resonate with his very profound writings excellent book if you want to look within and change
