Great with ONE small exception . . .

This book is really interesting. The descriptions are clear - and easy to understand (even when driving and not having access to the PDF file). There were lots of "aha" moments in the book that will be useful in my interaction with family, co-workers and friends.

I have one concern, however. In the preface, the authors say that "anyone with average intelligence can learn to read body language." It is my experience that anyone who is marginalized by any kind of disability (including developmental) is very skilled at reading body language. I hope that they will reconsider their introductory statements!

Good but heavy "read"

Although hard to transition body language visual to an audio book audible, the other does an ample job keeping this piece both informative and engaging. A great read for anyone looking to brush up on their nonverbal skills.

Sadly very robotic and flat like a class

This is a great book. I own two copies. Audio and print. However the audio book needs a different narrator!! I could fall asleep!

Revalations 101 for the modern man

This was truely enlightening. Everyone knows the old chestnut about folded arms being a physical communications barrier, but this book puts all of the jigsaw pieces together. It also points out that eg. folded arms, alone, is not the full story. The delivery by Paul Costanzo was a little cluncky in areas, almost like the narrator took a breath mid sentence or mid word.
I will listen to this one again to pick up the subtleties that I missed in the magnitude of information.
In reality, the less people that listen to this book, the more I will have the upper hand in negotiations etc. It is easy to put into practice the "secrets" that Joe explains. I was noticing minute body cues after the very early parts of the book.
