Trump knows more than a little about turning defeat into victory. Early in his real-estate career, he learned that every building project faces major unexpected delays, obstacles, and problems. He began to prepare for adversity and even welcomed it. That kind of attitude can give you power to conquer obstacles and succeed in the face of long odds.

This book is the epitome of the individual that has had to fight for everything they want and have in life. The message is clear, the direction is precise. You would have to be an idiot not to see the message here. I enjoyed this book very much. It is one of the books that will be a repeat listen.
Very good book packed with lots of information and tons of inspiration I would highly recommend it for anyone who needs motivation. Max LaMoureaux Sr.
This book lays out Donald Trump's path to success, failure and success again. This book proves that to be successful you must learn the characteristics of recognizing opportunity and continue to fight for what you want.
I'm a big Trump fan and have rated many of his other books five stars. However, this book was just a rehash of the Art of the Deal, and not as interesting. One would expect from the title of the book that it would be an analysis of problems Trump has encountered and the strategies he employed to solve said problems. Instead, he lists out some obstacles he's encountered, says he worked really hard even though to the outside world it may have looked easy, and that everything worked out for the best; sometimes even better than he'd expected. I thought the book was kind of glib, and was glad it was only 4 hours. Disappointed.
It is a very motivational book as well as very good advice and lessons are given. As usual, Donald doesn't disappoint. I recommend this book to everyone looking to be successful!
This was a great book. Trump gives lots of examples of how he got projects done that seemed impossible. The only reason he accomplished them was by being patient and not giving up. This was one of my favorite Trump books.
The person reading the book sounded too young. This is a business book and the reader sounded way too young. It bothered me for some reason. I wanted to hear a mature man read this book that sounded like a business professional, and not sound like a kid.
The Don is more of a teacher than he is a real estate mogul. I did pick up some golden nuggets from this book . The reader of the book did not touch me like the reader in Donald Trump and Bill Zankers Think Big And Kick Ass
Did . Overall good book
I'm a web developer from Sydney, Australia who loves every opportunity to learn something new. Audible is perfect for this!
I'd recommend it as I found it an intriguing look into Donald Trump's mentality and enjoyed the stories of his life and decisions he made.
It gave me a new insight into who he was and the mindset he has which has helped him come back from ruin and ultimately be incredibly successful.
I enjoyed listening to his story of going onto Saturday Night Live and what it was like.
I listened to it in about 24 hours. Wasn't one sitting but quite close to it!
"Loved every minute"
Some of the messages in this book are a great metaphor for life and you can apply it to all areas of life.
It's actually quite funny too.
I definitely recommend this.
