Brian Tracy is the master...again!

As a trainer, speaker and coach myself (real estate) I regularly recommend Brian's vast range of audio books to the crowds- why? Because his teaching works! Time Power has to be his best and most indepth look at time management and having listened to all his other audio servings of the same topic (again and again) this audio is the appetiser, entree, meat, potatoes, loads of vegies, the drinks and the desert all in one when it comes to time management! I will need to listen to it a number of times to really start to mine the vast depth of gems Brian has provided at such a very low price!
Brian is definately the best at what he does, my career is certainly far more successful because of his great teaching- thanks again Brian Tracy.

There are so many time management books out there

But this is classic like the Bible. The narrator's voice is easy to listen to at an appropriate pace. FYI my mother tongue is Korean, so if you're not good at listening to English books, don't worry and try this.

Time Power or Time Waste??

While Time Power suggests many great time saving techniques it seems to drag out far to long. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Brian Tracy and his teachings just not this book. Perhaps if this was the first book of his I had listened to, I would have found it a bit different but the fact is it seems like an extra drawn out version of 'Eat that Frog", a book I would more happily recommend.

Great book, Needs to be updated

I love this book but I have to say it really needs to be updated. All of the talk about filing systems and Rolodexes made me laugh. An entire section of the book could be replaced with "get a computer". Was the book written in 2007 or 1997? All joking aside this book does have some great advice.

Not bad

Some of the principles are pretty sound, but some others seem a bit bogus. For example: get up early (ok fine) so that you can work from home 3-4 hours before heading into work, then get to work 1 hour before everyone else, and leave one hour later than everyone else. Well ok thanks, I'll work at least 5 hours more than everyone else, great thinking Einstein! A fair part of the book is focused on sales people which seems a bit useless for others. Take it with a grain of salt, use what's good and leave the rest.

Brian Tracy is always useful and interesting.

recommended reading all of Brian Tracy's work, although he has much of the information repeated in other titles, from my point of view, it just proves that the message is authentic and ties into all aspects of life.

Review by J Key

This was an excellent reminder of some things and a great idea for others. I have already put some things in place to help save time for myself and have recommended some things to others to help them. This was a great book.

Very practical!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book is on the dot. I've read and listened to several books of his already and is always refreshing and informative. The information you get out of this is practical. As soon as you are done listening to it, you can use the learned skills after you are done with the audio.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Time Power?

I wish I can remember all 8 hours of it, but what I remember most is how to finish BIG tasks single minded before doing anything first. Like I said, it's practical and it worked right away. I mean it's obvious that you have to do the most important tasks first, but there is more to it. Brian Tracy explains it effectively without wasting your time.

Which character – as performed by Brian Tracy – was your favorite?

I like that he is very calm and informative. He might sound monotone, but I got use to it. His fresh information keeps me glued.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

That time can never be bought back .
