The 13 Steps to Riches described in this audiobook offer the shortest dependable philosophy of individual achievement ever presented for the benefit of the man or woman who is searching for a definite goal in life. It comes directly from the experiences of hundreds of America's most successful men.
Hill interviewed 504 people, including Ford, Wrigley, Wanamaker, Eastman, Rockefeller, Edison, Woolworth, Darrow, Burbank, Morgan, Firestone, and three United States presidents. The process of conducting these interviews required an investment of 20 years of Napoleon Hill's life.
This audiobook will guide many to success, and has sold millions of printed copies for nearly three quarters of a century. Yes, one can gather from the title that the starting place for wealth is in a person's thoughts - and this title is the source for most of today's motivational speakers. So why not go back to the original source?

Greetings. My brother introduced me to Audible in 2011. Since, nothing but enjoyment. Hopefully my reviews are very useful to you. Enjoy!
Both I would consider both great.
Yes and in addition to that once every 6 months. It's that impactful.
Must have for those that want self development.
Yes! It's at the pinnacle of teaching someone how to attain success.
Having a burning desire for what you want and transmuting that desire into it's monetary equivalent through persistance.
His son born without hearing capacity (physical equipment to support hearing) but through desire he learned to hear through bond conduction of sound.
It was an epiphany! I'm 50 years old now and I'm just acquiring this knowledge.
Wish it was part of my high school's curriculum.
The stories in this book will help you to understand the trials many amazing people have gone through and give you an understanding that you can do what you want as long as you commit.
Yes Absolutely, This should be called a textbook to life.
One of the most inspiring books I have ever listened to.
I wish the audio chapters coincided with the book chapters so it would be easier to go back and reference later.
There is a lot of good information and principles in this book. However, for every ounce of good information, you have to sit through a pound of pseudoscience nonsense and other types of penance you pay to learn something out of this book. The narrator was kind of dull-sounding to make it worse.
This is an excellent starting book for anyone who would like to understand himself better and start on the path to improve and succeed.
I would only add that it would have been beneficial to have the option to display the pages as they are read for better focus and to enable self read if required.
"A business classic!"
This book is an absolutely fantastic look into the what people now call the ?millionaire mindset?. The book is the combination of 20 years of studying some of the greatest inventors, investors and Business men of the time and in fact the century, people like Henry Ford, Alexander Bell, Thomas Edison, and Andrew Carnegie. It was actually Andrew Carnegie who encouraged Hill to write the book and study the great minds of their time.
The book goes through topics such as Imagination and discusses how once a person can imagine something on ones mind then it is possible, Desire, in which he tells of the deaf child who finally heard and how if a person desires something badly enough he can and will achieve it, auto-suggestion and how having positive thinking can affect outcome, procrastination, imagination, the brain itself and fear. The most interesting section, however, I believe is on his ideas of sex transmutation; turning sex drive into a positive force instead of a destruction one. For the 1930?s his ideas were certainly revolutionary and for the most part most of them still hold. Some of the content is a little dated but in general Hill was on the money!
In essence this book is what Richard Parkes Cordock tried to do with the ?millionaire MBA Business Mentoring Program? and his inspiration for the millionaire upgrade in which Hill?s book is constantly referenced.
I honestly believe that this book should be compulsory for anyone studying business in either High School or University. It for me is one of the best books of in the area of business motivation.
The narration at times can be a little flat but it certainly gets the main points across. If you were looking for a book with a little bit more humour and life then Brian Tracey's "Success Mastery Academy" is certainly worth a look and similar topics are discussed.
Best self help book ever. Changed my way of thinking forever. I am looking forward to a new rich life. Thanks Napoleon for being so clear, concise and truly inspirational.
It's a classic on the printed page and every bit as good (probably even better) on audio as you can listen to great inspiration whilst driving, lying in bed or jogging/ working out!
The original, and outdated, yet still one of the greatest books available. I really enjoyed the narrator, what cannot be said of the other versions. If you're considering this book, choosing this version is a good idea.
"must read book"
I am sure if you as somebody who is millionaire he would had read this book. This is a book which should be read atleast 10 times. If anybody read this book 10 times and apply its principle he will surely be rich in any area he desires.
This is one of my fabourite book and everytime I read this book I find new ideas
One of the most inspirational book I ever read/heard . A true classic. Most read
"Life in a book"
Incredible for anyone who is on the path of self enlightenment and discovery. I'm just going into my 3rd read and envy time I gain a new insight and understanding of my true purpose.
This has changed my life. The narration is fantastic and the points hit home. Listen again and again for effect.
Great book that will for sure have an immense impact on your life. Highly recommended for those who know there is more to life than what they already have.
"A great listen!"
Still very relevant today, a few bits are less PC than today's norms but you have to keep in mind that this was written when the world was a different place
Definitely recommend that you should give it listen!
