Sound Advice!
Dave Ramsey is full of common sense. One should not get in debt and should make it a priority to get out of debt. He has a lot of common sense ideas such as to not get into credit card debt and to have an emergency fund.
The only thing that I wonder about is his method to pay off your debt. Dave suggests that you pay the smallest amount of debt first, then the next debt, until the largest amount of debt is pay last. This way helps keep people encouraged to finish paying off their debt.
I think one should pay their debt with the highest interest first, then the other debt.
Both ways work, but Dave is the expert; however, my way will save more money.
However, if one loses their motivation to pay off a high interest, large debt first, then Dave's way is better.
Dave has a great voice and reads well too. Great performance!

Good tools, if I can manage to use them. No tricks.
I love he’s not gentle. I love he’s yelling at me, and from page one he doesn’t let us forget that the problem is us, and so is the solution. I listened the first time through, and will listen again while using the workbook I ordered that goes with it. Baby steps.

excited for the future
I'm 23 planning on moving out soon and just scared of my finances and the debt that's over my head but now I feel like I can handle it and I'll be debt free before too long
