can I just say this isn't for beginner beginners
so this isn't for the person who is still trying to understand and manager their budget but it is still a good read I personally got alot out of chapters 1-6 but after that it's all mortgages stocks and investing which was way over my head at the moment but I really enjoyed the book thanks Dave!

Great Common Sense Advice
Enjoyed the book. Dave Ramsey really takes people's lack of self control (which is really the most common cause of money, and life's problems) and shows you ways to take control of yourself and your money. Would certainly recommend.

Great book!
This really hit all the right notes. Even the way he reads the book and sort of yells at you. It's about financial fitness and touches on physical fitness. Really puts a plan that's workable for everyone. We are starting on step 1 this week.
Step 1- save $1k to avoid Murphy - yes Murphy's law.
Step 2- the debt snowball. We are starting this process to gather all our bills and debts and listing them from least amount to most.
Definitely recommend this book to everyone!

Practical knowledge
The total money makeover is a good starting point for people confused about finances. This book has a bit of a spiritual tendency but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Psychology shows that giving is an important aspect to a healthy life. Dave approach is it from more of a spiritual standpoint but I consider it true nonetheless.
