Truth

The authors stick to data to explore the surprising truth behind millionaires-- fancy cars and extravagant lifestyles are often signs of people pretending to be millionaires. Millionairs often live below their means and instead of fancy cars they own used, reliabel Detroit Metal.

Some, not all, timeless information

some of the information was relevant to today, while other information is a little outdated . I like the talk of small disciplines and how frugality can help you build wealth. The car part is super important. There is no need to drive yiur money and watch it depreciate

Surprising secrets indeed...

Thoroughly enjoyed the responses and results from Dr. Stanley's research. The various millionaire subjects and the insights provided from their various backgrounds, family members, and colleagues/friends, were so very helpful at this point in my life. I began this series of books while researching a replacement to my husband's 21 year old truck. Because of the self-made millionaire attitudes towards purchasing well-made used cars, I searched a 500 mile radius for a used Lexus LS430 and found not one, but 2 very well maintained Lexus vehicles in the Cleveland, Ohio, suburbs, one was a 2003 with 139,000+ miles and a 2004 with 93,000+ miles. I decided on the 2003 because it had been bought, and maintained by the original owner, in Naples, FL, for over 15 years, and had been handed down to a grandson a couple of years ago. I liked that car's backstory. My husband and I are now looking to buy a small house in Florida for our retirement years, most likely through the foreclosure process. We plan to frugally live out our final years on the interest of our investments, plus a well established health savings account, and our various side hustles that keep us 'young at heart'...

Great Book! A lot of statistics about the rich.

Much to learn from if you want to become a millionaire. Goes over a lot of cliche principles about wealth like paying yourself first and taking risks, but they are still essential points.

Pretty similar to Rich Dad Poor Dad. A lot of stories and examples of you love those :)
