    Life-changing literature.

I loved the audio version so much, I immediately went out and bought the unabridged book. You can have a life changing experience if you truly take what Dr. Schwartz says to heart (listen and apply).

    Topics covered are:

~How to develop the power of belief
~Steps to build confidence and destroy fear
~How to think and dream creatively
~Ways to harness and develop your ideas
    ~Managing your environment
    ~Improving relationships with people
    ~Turning defeat into victory
~Using goals to help you grow
~How to think like a Leader
    ...and much, much more.

If I could only recommend one book to you, this would be it. What do you have to lose? Is the risk of wasting $8.95 more important than possibly finding success and happiness for the rest of your life?

Your mind is a computer garbage.

There are some useful tidbits in this one but largely it follows the "Your mind is a computer" stuff. At times it almost insults your intelligence. Learning and growth are much more spiritual than this literature would have you believe.

    There is allot here

This is a very concise book on thinking beyond your immediate circumstance and taking a different perspective. The author encourages you to get beyond reacting to others and setting your own course in life. I found the book very helpful but needed to listen to it twice as it gets right to the point.

    Simple Learning

The content of this book is written in a very simple format which is great for negaholics that are trying to make a real change in their lives. For those who follow Covey and Frankl, this book confirms many if not all of their teachings

Don't waste your time or money

Without question, the most disappointing book I have downloaded from Audible.com: There is no "magic" to "The Magic of Thinking Big". This rehash of tired platitudes doesn't even rise to the level of "common sense dressed up in sales-speak." Instead, it is a continual sell job that brings to mind the worst of late-night television sell-a-thons.

It is poorly narrated as well -- the sound quality was about what I get when I read notes or text selections into my computer to share with friends and associates. The narrator sounds like a huckster -- I was particularly struck by his reference to "bleefs" (beliefs)!

Don't waste your time or money; this is a zero star book, rated at one only because zero is not an option. There are many great and wonderful books available from Audible.com and you can put your attention to far better effect with any of the others.

    Should have known better...

I keep forgetting to check for the "abridged" mention. I have yet to like an abridged audio book I liked. This one was no exception. It is a far cry from the unabridged written book I bought some 25 years ago.

    This a great book

I loved this book and every so often go back and listen to it again as there is so much inspiration in it. Yeah, I know some people say it's just a load of self-improvement mantras rehashed into a new pot, but I love the way it's presented, the change in voices, the changes in tempo and you can't help smiling once you've been listening to it. My only minor niggle is the 'plastic' music used to divide the sections - but I'll forgive this for the feel-good factor.

    A Big Winner

I listen to a lot of motivational audio books and read some as well. Often times they are hit or miss. This book was just GREAT! I loved it and learned a lot from it. It gives great examples that you can actually relate to.

    A classic

Read the book over 10 years ago (and many times since), then got the audio. Simple & Easy to follow. This book is a classic. I only wish it were unabrigded.

    The Magic of Thinking Big

If you've had any exposure to the motivational crowd (Robbins et al) you should pass on this one. It feels dated. If you?ve never experienced a motivational book or seminar?tuck in.
