Too racially bias, Argentinian maides? For real? No, at least 99% come from Central America an Mexico. I am going to ask for my money back. Too sad. Talented person though.
The message conveyed through the book is quite nice but take it with a grain of salt. while a lot of things mentioned in the book are quite helpful there are certain things that seem completely delusional.
overall I do recommend to give the book a read or listen.
You always learn something when you read Robin Sharma's work.
You always find new ways to apply old teachings as well.
I had the the pleasure to hear Robin speak in 2009 and was totally blown away. He spoke of this principal during his Keynote Address. This book is the blueprint to self mastery and it is the key to unlock anyone's potential. I look forward to my next connection with Robin again.
Thank you for your Leadership and Heart.
Best Warm Regards,
If you are looking for a practical philosophy on leadership, look no further. This book ingeniously lays out some actionable steps in a fun and entertaining story.
I LOVED the principals covered here! If you are used to personal development books, you may find the format of this very difficult as its told as a story. The performer is required to use several voices, which can be irritating and times...well worth it for the principles though!
Leadership in the service of others, to inspire innovative thoughts & actions, to 'connect the dots' & create our future, this is my crusade
The story used to deliver the books powerful message is inspiring and entertaining. I saw myself in each of the characters. If you have a person you know that is struggling to see their true value as both a human and productive member of sociality this book is a must read. If you would like to be a better coach and leader this book is for you.
I really liked the story and all the lessons taught from each of the four characters and story tellers. I think it has a very important message that we all need to be leaders in our own spear of influence and not worry about a title.
I felt connected to this book and story. A lot of what is said here is not new but stated in a clever story. I could feel the energy or chi or mana stir deep within me as I listened. This past week at work I have felt more energized than I have in a while. I do feel the need and urge to share Robin's message with my friends, family and coworkers. I hope that I can motivate at least 1 person at work and hopefully my wife and kids too. Thank you. I hope to live my life without regrets....my LWT journey begins now!
