Napolean Hill was a man of humble beginnings and great intellect. His book, Think & Grow Rich was required reading for a marketing course I took in college. While that book was great, it was just the beginning. The Law of Success is even more incredible. It will make you rich, in both the depth of your soul and financially. Hill's 20 years of interviews with the most successful people will change your life as it did mine. Listen to its many hours slowly, take notes and reap the rewards from this incredible audio.
Great narrator, and loaded with useful tips and principles of success. This book teaches timeless principles. The Laws of Success is the true masterpiece of Napoleon Hill. Think & Grow Rich is a trimmed and summarized version of The Laws of Success. This audiobook is the first time that The Laws of Success comes in such audio version. This is a great audio to put into my iPod and iPhone!!
I believe I first read Think & Grow Rich about 30 years ago. I recently heard about this book and when I found it on Audible.com I had to check it out. Even though its quite long the chapters are in very well organized segments. Mr Hill's message is powerful medicine and the narrator does an excellent job. There is more value in this one book than in a dozen other self-help books and it should be required reading for anyone who wants to improve their position in life. I also believe it would be a great addition to the reading list for young people today who are just beginning their great journey through life. Highly recommended.
It is the father of all self-improvement ideas. A holistic approach to all kind of success in life. You will never regret spending the 24 hours that is needed to finish the book. And more than that, it would be hard not to repeat the experience and have a second listen to the whole thing.
Although the longest audiobook I've listened to to date, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Of course, the classic book from Napoleon Hill is just a goldmine of useful information, but the narration by Grover Gardner was spot on. 24 hours is a long time to listen to the one voice (I listen whilst commuting and it took two weeks to get through) but Gardner spoke with such ease and familiarity that it was as though he wrote the book, unlike some books where you can tell the narrator has no idea of that of which he is narrating. Well worth it!
From understanding the core principles of mind-to-mind power to realizing there is more than one way to relieve one's self of a headache, Dr. Hill tells it all. Now it is time to purchase the hard copy and begin to study his teachings for everlasting knowledge.
Lessons for Success
I did - some might say this book is just common sense but it goes deep into the lessons so you understand on a profound level that character, discipline, and our inner attitude are key to living a successful and prosperous life.
This is a book I would recommend for EVERY young person - it should be required reading in high school. I think it was written in hte 1920s and the writing style is mature yet direct and easy to understand - you really can tell that the mucky goopy psycho-babble we have today is so much B.S. Napolean Hill teaches with wisdom. This audio book is a gem.
I have listened to this book twice. And I cant wait to read it again. There is something about the narrator that makes me listen.
Henry Ford with little general knowledge became the most successful business.
Astonished by pure sense of knowledge.
Share with everyone you love & the world will become a better place.
The Law of Success is one of those classics in which the content, whilst a bit dated / antiquated in its delivery (as well as some anecdotal content) - remains valid for modern day business and personal attitude requirements for success.
Yes. I'm sure the principles of his teachings remain relevant in modern day culture and business
Very funny when preaching absolute
There were many lessons to be learned but if you are someone who already strives for self improvement, the best thing you will get out of this book is reinforcement of existing success principles and practices.
this book should be labelled a
"Very long but very well read"
The problem with "ghost readers" is they often read someone else's work incorrectly with the wrong emphasis on the wrong words.
This reading is an exception to this rule: the voice is pleasant and one can almost imagine that this really is Napoleon Hill himself.
Some of the ideas are bizarre - lots on telepathy and atoms - but most is very helpful and encouraging for anyone needing to relax a bit more and become more attune to the opportunities around them, and more aware of the wealth within them.
