I love it

As a business owner myself, I am sometimes seduced into believing that ‘my family business is different’ than the 70% of family businesses that fail by generation two or the 97% that fail by generation four. The author’s statistics on that subject are sobering. Succession planning should not to be placed on the back-burner, even if the succession event is decades away. Business owners must plan early and plan often, while the sun is still out.
