All the "facts' and 'levels' zero in on business ownership basics
A must read for any business owner, or those who may want to be. It's easy to see why the press has been active in writing about and reviewing this book.
The concepts and principles are generally clear and well thought out.
Worth listening if you are either thinking of going into business for yourself or if you are struggling with making your business profitable.
Probably would listen to more of Brett's work but I'd recommend hiring a new editor.
I know that repetition is key to learning but when it's done in the way it has in this book, it makes you wonder if you've not already listened to that section of the book. If it wasn't for my want and will to be a good student of the core content, I'd probably never finished listening to it out of shear confusion. I kept asking myself, "didn't I just hear this chapter?" I think this may just be a matter of poor editing or poor executive writing skills (or maybe a writing coach?). Ok, repeat yourself but don't make your audience feel like you're a preverbal broken record.
Still, all this said, if you can get past all that, the content is well founded, well thought out and a great wake up call to anyone thinking of starting a business, wanting to grow their business or suffering from all the normal roadblocks in making changes and improvements.
