The Entrepreneur Roller Coaster will prepare you for the wild ride of entrepreneurship. It will warn you (of forthcoming fears, doubts, and the self-defeating conditioning of your upbringing and past), inoculate you (from the naysayers, dream-stealers, and pains of rejection and failure), and guide you (as you build those under-developed skills of independence, self-motivation, and self-accountability) safely past the landmines that blow up and cause the failure of 66 percent of all new businesses. You will learn the best strategies Darren has ever collected from the most successful people on the planet, covering the four essential skills necessary for entrepreneurial success: Sales, Recruiting, Leadership, and Productivity.

"I am calling this the must-read book to be properly on-boarded into entrepreneurship." (Anthony Robbins, Chairman to several privately held companies, New York Times best-selling author)
"Life is a roller coaster, and as Darren says, so is success. This book will help you define success on your own terms." (Maria Shriver, six-time New York Times best-selling author, NBC News Special Anchor and former first lady of California)
"This is it! It has taken me 20-plus years to learn what Darren has condensed down into 200-plus pages." (Daymond John, star of ABC's Shark Tank and Founder/CEO of FUBU)
I read a lot of business books, but not many written in an overtly self-help narrative. I loved the advice I encountered in this book, particularly starting with chapter 3.
Darren, Thank you for all your time, sweat and tears devoted to writing this book. Too many times I thought you were writing just about my experiences but then realized that is why you wrote the book...they are every entrepreneurs experiences. Also very pleased with your exercises at the end of each chapter.
By the end of hearing this book, there should be a certain amount of conviction that rises within you to question the limits you may be putting on yourself. I challenge any listener/reader to take inventory of your business and ask.... "Are there any ideals in this book that can help my business right now"? If the answer is yes, take action on the ideals that come to mind. If the answer is no, chances are you're not in business. Either way this book can and will help you only if you work with what works.
Thanks again Darren for delivering another timeless classic.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, my 2nd book by Darren Hardy. I like how Mr Hardy makes a point, tells stories, and uses metaphors to engage the reader to inform and entertain. In this book I particularly found useful motivation when I think about how Mr Hardy explains the U.S. government trains teenagers to expect and accept being shot at in the military service. Lately, when my mind makes lame excuses to not do something difficult at work, I think how hard can it be when I think about our military and the obstacles they overcome at ridiculously young ages. I also like how Mr Hardy explains the unwritten under explained phenomena where someone gains success through hard work and perseverance only to find many people will turn away from having relationships just because someone has become highly successful in their life. This is a great book worth reading for the messages and also for the entertaining stories. Mr Hardy and his team created another top tier book. The reason I deducted a star from performance is because Mr Hardy has a voice that can take some getting used to. The Compound Effect by Hardy is also phenomenal.
this book is a must read for anyone who is or is thinking of being an entrepreneur!! do yourself a favor and get this now!!
From start to finish, this book addressed all my fears, has given me hope, and the courage I've needed to work on the life of my dreams, to make those dreams into reality through actual application of the principles learned. Thank you!
Excellent, proven advice.
I liked the fact that it is narrated by Darren himself, and that he doesn't detract from the end result like some other authors who narrate their own audiobooks.
It offers such useful and practical advice and doesn't drag out in any way. I have listened to it twice, and will listen another 4 times (as he recommends) in the near future, and more at a later stage. It will be a constant reference and I am so thankful for it!
It is honest and there is no arrogance, despite all of his many successes, and I appreciated that he touches on ethical principles.
