Narrator was fine.
Powerful premise - teams are the sum of the members - members are more motivated and likely to succeed by tying in to their individual dream.
After laying out a powerful premise the book is painfully short on specifics and quite frankly seemed like a novel on how the author wished the world to be. It felt sort of like "a cure to cancer is important ... let's cure cancer ... skeptical researchers got together and after talking about initial obstacles >>> poof! <<< cancer was cured!". The book was supposedly a compilation of real cases. Why not delve more into real issues and show us more on real life obstacles and challenges?
This book is by far the read of the century.
I have been telling people for a long time it's not all about money. I struggled with defining why it's not all about money that keeps people; the book has enlightened me in so many ways so that I can now define what I was attempting to express.
Anyone focused on self development, becoming your best self, and helping others do the same will find this book thought provoking, useful, and a value add.
Very well written, the stories really bring you into the book. Its a quick read that is worth the time to read it.
The book helps you see how really caring about your employees makes them care about the company like never before.
