Grant Cardone reads his own book but never really stays on script giving many extra insight to his thinking in this audiobook. I would say if your in sales you want to be a closer. If you can't close you aren't selling anything. This book has everything you need to be a closer except the heart. You have to provide that yourself along with commitment, dedication, and persistence. This is a must read for anyone who ever wants to accomplish anything in life.

Some decent closes, but overall just not enough content. Not a good use of money, just listen to sell or be sold...it is basically the same thing and more.
I don't have the printed version. But the audio is great, with lot's of emotions.

The start of the book, it made me think more about the whole process of selling.
First 2 hours I was really thinking; common man, come to the point! And then he did. And sure, some of the closures are way out there and may not fit the particular business you are in or your style, but some of them are just awesome and may well be the difference in loosing or closing some major deals. That's why 5 stars.
I listed to the audio version. I have often thought (I've listed to this book 3-4 times now) if reading this one would be as powerful as reading... I don't think so. Grant's conviction in his closes are perfect. I have been selling Real Estate for 10 years and I have used several of these closes; however, to hear him use them made me more confident in my ability to apply them better and more frequently.

In the audio version the author references all of his great closing techniques, but there are few discussed in the audio version. He then references his written book for the closing techniques. Nice bait and switch sales pro.
The first 25% of the book is painfully slow, repeating the same points in a pretty cheesy way. Once the author gets to the actual 100 closes, it's great content and swift delivery. The techniques are oriented at retail or transactional selling, not complex corporate deals. But still useful for anybody - even to understand your own behavior as a consumer.
Narration was pretty good, most of the closes are just basically pushing yourself past the comfort zone, some people are more comfortable than others asking for the sale, asking for the signature, asking for the approval, ignoring people's objections, and pushing through them. That's my opinion. I think if you listen to each of them 500 - 1000 times, it will seem easier to the individual to utilize them in a face to face meeting.

It ranks highly, as I run my own business sales training is something that I have overlooked & have failed to close because I would take the rejection personally as I am the product.

I love grant and his books, open your mind to this but I'd ignore the scientology reference, TR training. I knew that there were occasional references of scientology in this book and I don't fully agree with some of grants opinions, but the downside is tiny to the pro side which is enormous. I would definitely buy this book it will make you feel highly motivated and educated btw im from london not dallas
"This book could save you a lot of time and grief!"
Wow what a book. This book completely opened my eyes to the little discussed but crucial life and business skill, how to close. This book really showed me the huge benefits from closing and more crucially how I could learn the skill myself. It's really clever of the author to show you how it's done, sure it takes commitment and hard work, but the benefits are worth it. Within one lesson I closed a really important deal with my family.
I think this book is pretty unique for me, however I would compare the benefit of the book to me as comparable to Getting to Yes by Roger Fisher and William Ury. The difference though is I think the benefits of being a good negotiator are understood, though the benefits of being a good closer are not. so give the book a listen and you may find yourself as enthralled as I was by the need to lear this crucial, though relatively unknown business and life skill.
When he describes what emotional closers are and I realised that I had been manipulated by emotional closers in shops and business. It was a big wake up call!
I found it had so much information that I often wanted to digest the information so I listened to in pieces.
I cannot recommend this book enough. It is a very good way to learn a crucial life lesson whether you are in sales or not. I am so happy that I found this book and I think it offers great value.
"Skip the first 30 odd chapters. A good read after."
Get through the first 35 or so chapters to get on with the closes which will help you see things differently. keep listening/reading and get this in your head and it will help you to shift your attitude to always be closing and hopefully you can make more of your sales opportunities. Overall, some good closes which should help you!

Easy to listen and I will revisit this book. However, at times it simply felt like a list of closing statements.

Grants book 10x is much better than this but it has taught me to be more confident with my close.

If you want to be a success. Dont look at this as an expense. Rather this is an investment towards many riches and yourself.

This book has totally changed my view on how I approach closing a deal . I have read it 6 times because I deserve to buy a villa in Spain rather than just paying my gas bill

I much prefer Grant Cardone to articulate his content video audio or video because he adds a new dynamic to the content however this is personal preference and I haven't purchased his physical books.
I've not come across a book like this one and this is a good thing. These techniques apply to the UK as well as thats where I'm from.
The great thing about this book is that, after an intro which is a great recap of the content that can be found in "sell or be sold" Grant Cardone actually gets down to business and shows you real life, proven things to say. No filler, No BS, just says exactly what you have to say and exactly how to respond. I only review books once Ive read/Listened to them at least twice.

Not one of the better books from cardone. It needs a couple of more revisions specially on the first hour that practically feels like a brainwashing session as the same things are repeated over and over again.
