A worthwhile read

Overall a great book. Some of the concepts in the book can be applied to everyday interactions in dealing with people. Helpful in creating a greater sense of mindfulness & being able to manage relationships more strategically.

Definitely thought provoking!

Any additional comments?

It's very repetitive. But it's a classic, right? It's worth a listen. Sometimes it is very easy to zone out. I'm not sure if this is the writing or the narrator, but honestly, missing a few minutes of this book, doesn't leave you in the dark. There's no story line. It's more like a guide for generals in war. So, this information may very well come in handy next time I play Risk.

Short but deadly sefioys.

this book is a classic studied by All American Military universities and academies. The advice given on all manner of warfare is short succinct and specific. one need not be an actual military combat to use the principles of sun Tzu

Wonderful and precise

What made the experience of listening to The Art of War the most enjoyable?

I was looking for something short that I had previously read. This was a great introductory audiobook.

Great ideas for a low price

Is there anything you would change about this book?

It is missing the sound track from the audio so adding that would be nice. I also found that by speeding up the audio 2x made for a smoother reading.

What does Mike Borris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I probably would not spend the time to read it. I might find it to repetitive in the written form and skip some parts.

Didn't need the music

Any additional comments?

a nice reading of the Art of War, but fully half the download is just music. Which seems like a waste of time/space/effort to me.

Half of the book is flute?

I was surprised when I saw that this audio book has 2 parts: The actual book and then a series of flute songs. Maybe worth the price, but there are definitely better books to buy with your Audible credits...
