It makes sense but it is very pretentious.

He does not bother to talk about his references, financial or otherwise, but they can be found.

building a model or even a worldview of looking at financial institution. It gets a little bit philosophical.

If you Don't Read It, You are Behind

Soros is a money maker and the man has his quirks, this makes the book worthwhile to read. The thought process of keeping your mind clear is the major lesson here along with some major points on international finance. To have an edge in investing or ideas over other people, you must be Original.

By managing your reflexivity, you can be a great investor and idea person. Key message keep your mind clear and avoid the fake news and infotainment.

If you like Nassim Taleb, you will like this book. Similar but Taleb is more witty and interesting.

Great book

This was a great book with tremendous insight. I will likely listen again to be sure I fully grasp what he was saying about his market theory and underlying patterns to watch for.
